The rule
Membership cannot be bought. It has to happen.
You may buy a 2026 Season Candidacy. That gives you the right to be informed when your dates and the sky line up. It does not buy a dinner.
Actual seats open around the 11:00 sky call, and the first confirmed payment wins. The Club does not do average sunsets.

The Monchique dinner
A table above the western Algarve, close enough to the clouds to negotiate.
The first location lives in the mountains around Monchique, with the Atlantic to the west and Fóia as the quiet reference point. It is not a restaurant booking. It is a curated evening that only makes sense when the light, the view, and the table agree.

You hold one of 100 annual candidacies and can receive eligible sky calls.
Lifetime Alumni
You made it to the mountain. Active privileges stay alive through annual good standing.
If the weather wins
Some people make it to the mountain. Some people almost do.
If the weather keeps you waiting long enough, you may earn the rarest club artefact: "I tried to be part of The Sunset Club, but the weather was against me."

The Perseid Nights
Twelve adults. One mountain. The shooting stars do the watching. Active Alumni get first access, then active Season Candidates if the sky and capacity allow.
