Club Terms

The Sunset Club Monchique is operated by KOSACK LDA, Portugal. These operating rules apply to the current founding-season candidacy and Club offers. KOSACK LDA may update them for future bookings; the version accepted at checkout is the version that applies.
"The Sunset Club" describes a curated hospitality experience and membership ritual. It is not presented as a formal association, foundation, or statutory members club unless KOSACK LDA later creates one with proper legal documents.
Season Candidacy is access to the annual circle, not a reservation. The Club may be quiet for long stretches, and a member may receive no suitable offer if weather, availability, capacity, or curation do not align.
Children may join only when agreed in advance and when the evening still works as a calm private dinner. KOSACK LDA may limit children for safety, service, weather, or suitability reasons.
Children under 6 may share without a dedicated plate by prior agreement. Dedicated child plates and any special additions are confirmed manually until the Club offers a structured add-on flow.
Smoking, vaping, and open flames are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. This is a mountain setting and the rule is not negotiable.
KOSACK LDA may refuse service, end the evening, or decline future offers if this rule is breached.
The sky has veto rights. If the evening is not expected to be excellent, KOSACK LDA may decide not to open an offer or may cancel a Club evening for weather, safety, or operational reasons.
If KOSACK LDA cancels a paid event booking before the dinner takes place, the intended rule is a refund or a replacement/credit option agreed with the member. Travel, accommodation, and other external costs are not covered.
Because there is only one table and the evening cannot simply be moved, confirmed no-shows and late member cancellations may forfeit the event payment.
Specific date dinners, special nights, catering, and leisure-style services can have different withdrawal/cancellation treatment from ordinary online goods. The terms shown at checkout govern the specific booking.
A person becomes Lifetime Alumni only after actually attending a qualifying Club evening. Membership cards, certificates, sunset/starlight records, and related artefacts are intended to become part of the permanent Club history.
Photos and printed artefacts should be handled respectfully and consistently with the Privacy Notice.
Payments are processed through Stripe using the existing KOSACK LDA payment setup. The Sunset Club does not store full card numbers.
Stripe checkout metadata may record the accepted terms version, membership, booking, and event references for operational proof.
