The rule
You can buy candidacy. You cannot buy the sunset.
Candidacy means you may receive private offer links when your saved dates match an evening we want to open. It does not reserve a table.
Seats are sold only after the daily 11:00 decision. No guarantee, no fixed schedule, no average-sky dinner.
How it works
The flow is simple. The weather still gets a vote.
Set Your Windows
Add up to three periods in 2026 when you could actually come to Fóia.
Pay Candidacy
Pay 19 EUR for the 2026 candidacy. It gets you into the circle of 100.
Wait For 11:00
On good days we decide around 11:00 and send the private offer link to eligible members.
Confirm The Table
One table opens. The first completed card payment gets the evening.
Leave As Alumni
Attend the dinner, take the photo if you like, and receive your signed Club record.
One table per evening
Small by design.
Each dinner is one table for 2 to 4 adults. Up to two children can join when agreed in advance. We usually start around 90 minutes before sunset.

The Monchique dinner
Dinner near Fóia, above the western Algarve.
The table sits in the mountains around Monchique, with the Atlantic to the west and Fóia as the reference point. It is not a normal restaurant booking. It is a small evening we open only when the light, the view, and the weather make sense.

If the weather wins
If the weather says no, at least the story improves.
If a season keeps you waiting, you may qualify for the consolation artefact: "I tried to be part of The Sunset Club, but the weather was against me." It is a smile, not a shop checkout.

The Perseid Nights
Twelve adults, dinner on the mountain, and shooting stars if the sky keeps its side of the arrangement. Active Alumni get first access, then active Season Candidates if capacity remains.
